Necessary Precautions

• 1Clothing: Patients may need to take off some or all of their clothing and wear a hospital gown.
• 2Metal Objects: Remove metal objects like belts, jewelry, dentures, and eyeglasses to avoid interference with image results.
• 3Fasting: Refrain from eating or drinking for a few hours before the scan.
