1Fasting: A 4-6 hour fast is required. Overnight fasting is preferable. During the fast, just plain water is allowed.
2Ongoing Medication: Please notify us of any ongoing drugs, as you may require extra preparation for your examination.
3Advise Diabetics on Whole Body Digital PET-CT scan: Diabetic individuals should eat a light meal at 6:00 a.m. on the day of the test and follow the prescribed medications. Please notify us about your diabetic prescription so that we can arrange accordingly for your test.
4Creatinine and RBS Test: Blood test values for serum creatinine and RBS must be evaluated prior to the examination. If your creatinine or RBS level is high, please contact us and we will link you with one of our doctors for further guidance.
5Clinical records: Please bring all pertinent medical records with you to the PET scan. Submission of such clinical records enables doctors to work up and identify your case-specific diagnostic details.
6Old Records: If you have previously had a PET scan, please provide the DICOM version on a CD as well as the reports. Without the CD from the prior PET scan, it will be impossible to compare the improvement or deterioration of cancer.
